Duke Nukem Forever takes place about twelve years after the events of Duke Nukem 3D. It's a first-person shooter video game for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 developed by 3D Realms and Triptych Games and finished by Gearbox Software and Piranha Games. It is a sequel to the 1996 game Duke Nukem 3D, as part of the long-running Duke Nukem video game series *Duke Nukem Legacy*.
